Yes. Tulum has beautiful coral reef sites just a short boat ride from the beach. The Tulum coral reef is part of the second-largest coral reef system in the world, also known as the Mexican Barrier Reef. The reef extends 300 kilometers through Mexican waters. Here, you can see coral formations, tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, lobsters, moray eels, and other Caribbean marine life.

Reef diving in Tulum starts from $2,640 MXN for a Discovery Dive and $3,200 MXN for a 2-tank certified dive. All prices include equipment, boat transportation, and a certified guide.

Absolutely. Our Discover Scuba Diving experience requires no certification. We handle everything from instruction to equipment. You’ll learn the basics in shallow water before heading out to the reef for your first real ocean dive.

The best dive sites are located just off Tulum Beach. Either north or south of Mexidivers dive shop , we choose the reef sites depending on the day’s sea conditions, visibility, current, and diver level. Our own boat operation allows us to access different reef areas quickly and offer a smoother, more personal diving experience.
