Why Cozumel?

Queen angelfish resting on a coral formation in a cozumel diving from tulum tour

Cozumel is part of the Mesoamerican Reef system — the same reef that runs along the Caribbean coast of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras.

Here, the reef meets the open Caribbean and builds into dramatic walls that offer some of the best drift diving in the world.

Expect crystal clear water, rich coral formations, large sponges, turtles, rays, tropical fish and an incredible diversity of marine life.

All inside a protected national marine park.

Typical sites include Palancar Reef — the dive that made Cozumel world-famous — Santa Rosa Wall, one of the most dramatic vertical drops in the Caribbean, La Francesa, and Colombia Reef. Each visit is different. Sites are selected on the day based on conditions, current, and group level.
